French IPTV in Quebec: Radio-Canada, TVA, RDS on Your IPTV Box

For French-speaking households in Quebec, Ottawa-Gatineau, New Brunswick and across Canada, an IPTV box is only as good as its French channels. IPTV Box 4K puts the full Québec line-up in one group, next to English Canada, so bilingual homes don't pay for two packages.

French networks

• Radio-Canada (ICI Télé) with regional stations
• TVA with regional stations
• Noovo
• Télé-Québec
• ICI RDI and LCN for news

French sports

RDS, RDS2, RDS Info and TVA Sports cover the Canadiens, the CFL, the NFL, soccer, tennis and more. If you follow the Canadiens in French, add RDS and TVA Sports to your favourites.

French specialty channels

The Québec group also includes French specialty channels for movies, series, documentaries, lifestyle and kids, the kind usually sold as add-on packs on cable.

French movies and series on demand

The on-demand library includes French-language films and series, as well as many international titles with French audio or subtitles. In most player apps, you can switch the audio track or subtitles while a film is playing.

Setting the box up in French

Most IPTV boxes and player apps can run in French. On an Android TV box, change the system language in Settings > Device preferences > Language. Many player apps follow the system language automatically, and the TV guide shows programme titles as the channel provides them.

Bilingual households

Because English and French channels are in the same list, everyone can watch in their own language from the same IPTV box. Add a second connection if two people want to watch different channels at the same time. Our Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa pages have local details.
